MIDI PC Control
MIDI PC Control is a minimalist Max4Live device for Ableton Live which will allow you to send MIDI Program Change messages to external hardware instruments. See the full featured MIDI Control Center device here.
The addition of a random function allows you to recall a random preset. The Min/Max sliders allow you to set the minimum and maximum program change number the random function will transmit. Useful for a more controlled randomization strategy if you for example organize a group of related presets in adjacent slots.
Program changes and program change randomization can also be controlled via automation, modulation and Ableton Push controllers. Additionally the devices colors will always match your selected theme.
11-25-2023 - v1.2 Update
Added ON/OFF Switch so you can prevent sending program change messages on load/copy or anytime you want to perfectly time a program change. SND button allows you to send a PC change message to a device on demand.
10-17-2023 - v1.1 Update
- Added Minimum value for the PC Randomization so you can now set a min/max range for the random function. Useful for a more controlled randomization strategy if you for example organize a group of related presets in adjacent slots. Two way communication exists between the min/max sliders so they always move in relation to each other and stay at a minimum distance of 1 value apart.
- Modulation is now possible for all parameters in addition to automation.
- Corrected the Max random value to 128 and minimum to 1.
- Slight design adjustments.
